Hammond Produce

Company

The Hammond family has been farming in Nottinghamshire since 1900 when Thomas Hammond bought the 12 acre Derry Mount Farm in Arnold from his retiring employer, Thomas Dabell.

Today, the business farms over 3,500 acres across 3 counties and produces over 50,000 tonnes of fresh vegetables each year. We are hugely conscious that we are merely short term custodians of the land we farm and must nurture our most cherished asset.

Our dedication to sustainable agriculture and food production shapes the way that we farm our land to safeguard its ability to produce healthy, great tasting, fresh food for many generations to come.

Our integrated approach to farm management is typified by our LEAF Marque status, certifying the sympathetic management of intensive food production alongside long term environmental sustainability and conservation projects.

We are committed to ensuring that the services we offer consistently exceed the quality expectations of our customers. We have a comprehensive Quality Management System that is implemented by our committed team.

Our growing, harvesting, washing, packing and haulage activities are accredited by the following schemes:
